So I’ve been going through the sims in Wiley’s test bank for AUD and I’m noticing there aren’t a lot (if any at all that I can think of) sims where you type in a specific answer/number. It’s more of matching type questions. Just wondering if it’s similar on the exam or if Wiley is just wildly under-preparing me??

If this violates disclosure rules, please don’t answer!!

Also, praying not to get a sim on interpreting the tick marks in the audit work papers, I hate those!! -_-

I took AUD on 2/1 and failed with a 69. I used the WTB and there was like 30 SIMS at best. The SIMS on the exam were leaps and bounds more difficult than WTB SIMS. The MCQ's did an okay job on actual test vs Wiley Test Bank. I know the SIM you are talking about on WTB with all those tickmarks!

I got screwed on the SIMS big time and scored “weaker”. I got 2 DRS both crazy difficult and 2 JE SIMS that seemed more FAR related. The research was easy but took time.

    Good Luck

Ahhh I'm sorry to hear that Shawn! Thanks for your answer. I guess there's not much I can do at this point but hope for the best!

I've taken AUD twice, failed with a 69 then a 74. I did notice a lot of matching throughout all of the simulations except for the research question. Both times I failed the exam was due to my weaker performance on the sims. The best advice is to understand the material as thoroughly as possible so that you know and understand which answers correctly match which questions. Also try to use the authoritative literature, I found it very helpful for some questions.
