AUD Sims

    Studying for AUD to take the first week of April. How well do people feel the SIMS in Becker and Ninja MCQ prepared them for the test? I understand knowing the concepts is key to these, but I guess my question is by doing the SIMS in Becker and Ninja will I feel more or less prepared? I am doing really well on MCQ (I have been dealing with audits and auditors my whole professional career so the subject matter is somewhat familiar to me) but I always hear how impossible the SIMS are…

    My experience is none of the review material ever really compares or prepares you for what you see on the exam…which is why I'm so scared for AUD..

    Becker adequately prepared me to take Audit a few years ago. I passed and it expired. Took it again recently and felt adequately prepared again. Work through all the Becker Sims. You are never going to get a true “sample” of what the exam will give you.

    The thing that helped me the most was the realization that I didn't need to shoot for 100% on every sim. There can be ALOT of value on simply treading water with the Sims. On test day, you need to get the research one, and one or two more completely right. After that, just don't get 0's..

    @NeedsA75-I know what you mean. After taking BEC in January I felt like I overstudied and didn't study enough all at the same time, but I felt super prepared going into the test which was evident in a passing score… So yes, i am not looking to see the exact same SIMS, but just something I can figure out based on what I have seen before. @CPA the third-thank you that helps! I have done every single SIM in my Becker online course so far and doing them randomly now in Ninja…

    I find that the Sims really help you in studying the overall material. I find that the Sims really help out when you feel like you are memorizing MCQs. In most cases, there is no way to rule out the wrong answers in the Sims. By doing them, you really can see the areas that you need work on.
