Does anyone have a good breakdown of when independence is required and what assurance is provided for each of the types of services. (review, compilation, audit, attestation services, and agreed upon procedures)? Also what standard they are required to follow?

compilation-does not have to be independent but if you aren't disclose it, SSARS
audit-must be independent, GAAS
agreed upon procedures-must be independent, SSAE
