Hi everyone,
I took the updated Auditing test back in July and unfortunately got a 74. I passed all three of the other parts on my first try, so this is my first experience retaking a test. I am planning to retake AUD sometime in late October. I have used Becker (and only Becker) for all 4 parts so far. I recently bought the 10 point combo lite from this site and plan on using that in addition to reviewing Becker again.
For those of you who have retaken AUD (or retaken any of the other tests for that matter), how have you prepared for the retake? Right now, I am planning to use a similar approach to the retake as I have for all the others, except for adding the materials from the ten point combo lite in my final review, but if anyone has any other suggestions, I would appreciate the feedback. Also, how much time is an appropriate amount to study for the retake? When I took it in July for the first time, I had studied for a little over a month (doing about two lectures per week) and allowed 10 days or so for final review.
And lastly, considering I got a 74 and was so close to passing, I have been thinking about getting the test reviewed, but heard that it is a slow process and there is also a very low likelihood of the grade changing. I don’t mind paying the fee, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the time and effort. Has anyone else had a test reviewed before, and if so, how was your experience?
Thanks!
