For FAR, Becker gave a 10 minute video dedicated to the Codification and how to use and understand the tool. But for AUD, there’s no explanation or break down of the research tool. Does anybody have any literature or other advice/breakdown of the tool for those who don’t know how it’s structured?

Sounds like you have Becker? If so, just browse around on the simulation software's research tab. Most of the stuff you'll need are in the “AU” – U.S. Auditing Standards which are broken down by the standards (TIP-PIE-ACDO – General Standards, Standards of Fieldwork, Reporting Standards). The reporting section would have templates of the different opinions if you scroll down far enough.

I also have Becker. I usually just search for whatever they're asking for and just fill in the reference codes and section numbers.. I am usually always right. It was confusing at first with that drop down box!
