Can anyone please tell me if we are expected to read the standards (e.g AU 332, AU 560, PCAOB etc.) that are listed at the end of the Wiley book and also if we need to study the IT section at the end.

Yaeger suggests to read them based on your comfort level,and that it is not mandatory.But,I got many qs right after reading the standards.I didnt read them all,but i did read wherever the main text refers to.If you read them,trust me,you will get many MCQs right,in no time.It will take only a glance at the choices.Though one can argue that some can eliminated purely based on common sense,many Qs have 2 right choices,and thats where the important stds familiarity comes to play.

I took Aud after BEC,so i did take a quick glance at the IT part.You need not read the entire chapter on IT,just need to have module 6 down and the IC (Application controls and Program Controls) part of the BEC IT chapter-Which is 1/4th of that module.
