For those of you who already passed AUD and others who will get their passing score on 8/22, how did your practice tests reflect your actual score?

I took my Becker’s practice test tonight that’s why my head is aching now. AUD questions look easy but they’re extremely tricky. I had to squeeze my brain so hard to pick my best educated guess. My 2 practice results from my first attempt averaged to 50 & 60%. Then I scored only 72.

Here is my result for the day:

    T1 83%

    T2 93%

    T3 90%

    SIM:

    80% > Risk Tab

    80% > Internal Control Tab

    100% > Tickmarks Tab

    60% > Statistical Sampling Tab

    75% > Comparative FS Tab

    60% > Govt Auditing Tab

    100% > Research Tab

The result of my practice test seems promising but I feel like I only got most of the correct answers by luck. I am so scared to test again that’s why I keep changing my test schedule. (I’m testing on 8/30).

I think your good to go. You say lucky but you could have just as easily picked the wrong answer. There is a reason you picked that answer over any other. Just review the exam and make sure you got the answer right for the right reasons.

Thanks @Dutkas for such a great motivation. I really appreciate it.

Yes, I am going to review my result tomorrow. I am so worn out now. I cannot even think right anymore. LOL.

Congrats on you BEC score and looks like you'll have 2 more passing scores this week.

    Good luck!

I've been tracking this comparison with a friend of mine. He's taken all 4 parts, and his actual exam scores have been 8-13 points higher, compared to his Becker final exam results. It also held true for me on my first section (and I hope it does for tomorrow's score release!).

    Here's what we do:

    1) Answer the questions, no cheating/looking!

    2) Calculate a percentage for the multiple choice questions and weight them at 60%

    3) Calculate a percentage for the SIMS (use the points earned out of points possible, don't just average the percentages). Weight that at 40%.

    4) Add up the weights for your Becker score

I have no idea if there is any substance to this method, and it probably depends on a lot of factors. Still, I feel more comfortable using real numbers to guesstimate my potential score range instead of just making a wild, random guess.

We've only ever estimated this based on the first attempt at the questions.

    Thanks CareBear for your input.

On my first attempt last testing window, I scored 73% and 59% on my 2 final practice tests with Becker.

Your statistics of 8-13 add-up on actual test score seems to be close. I failed with 72 (59+13?).
