So I feel pretty confident except for the section on reporting from the Wiley textbook. On everything else I’m scoring 80%+ on the mcqs and about the same for the sims but I just don’t get reporting. I only hit 60% after my second run through. I’m going pound the mcqs today and tomorrow. Should I be okay? Would I be a good idea to reschedule?

Reporting is pretty important – I think concentrating your efforts there might help. Maybe summarizing the reporting requirements in a table or in lists might help you study more efficiently then just pumping out MCQs.

Do you have NINJA Notes? If not, I think the free notes are the ones on reporting. They were in January, anyway, and they really helped me get better on the reporting content.

A table sounds like a good plan.

I'm going through mcqs right now and there's been a few I noticed I got wrong were me from me just speeding through and not really reading so it may be closer to 70%. Oh well, whatever happens I'll know what to focus on next time around.

It sounds like you're in pretty good shape to me. Just remember to carefully read each question and pay particular attention to if they're asking about audit vs. review vs. comp. etc., and if they're asking about issuers vs. nonissuers.

Does AUD have recent changes for 2014 as compared to 2013?

With FAR, the AICPA sample tests are very helpful. I just don't know about AUD.

Well the old standards got tossed and replaced with the Clarified Audit Standards. I'm using the 2014 Wiley book so I'm not too worried about that. I took the sample exam out of that and got a 70% and that was before I was reviewing. Those sample questions look very helpful. I'll definitely try to push through as many of those as possible. Thanks!

I remembered another thing that helped me is that I had a packet of all of the main reports from my college class, which I read several times. I wasn't able to fully memorize them, but having that language in my head helped when it came to answering questions. Maybe those are available online somewhere. I'm not sure where my professor got them. Just make sure you find the updated letters. There were recent changes.
