My exam is this coming thursday.. Just wanted to know what last minute things everyone else out there is concentrating on..

When is your Aud exam?

I am currently working on the Becker Final Exam 2.. I take the testlets in stages and review each testlet when i am done. I cant sit down for 4 hours to take the whole exam. Such miracles only happen in the exam room!

If any of you need a confidence boost, I'll tell you right now I'm just now going through A3 (not even review…first time looking it over) and my test is a week from tomorrow. It's been one of those months where life got in the way and I'm honestly just glad I'm still trying after a pretty rough couple of weeks, but at least you all know you're way more prepared than I'll be on test day! Oh well, worst case scenario, I take it again.

My retake on AUD is 11/22…Friday! Yuck! I've been doing nonstop MCQ's all weekend until I was sick of them!! I'm also rewriting as much of my notes as possible (using my lunch hour to rewrite) and then doing more MCQ's after work. I also detest Internal Control, and the concept of segregation of duties seems to allude me ever time! UGH! I'm going to focus on those sections, and review the ratios (briefly) and PPS/Variable sampling methods. I’m really hoping I can knock out 2 tests this year…but I haven’t taken my AUD test yet so I may be on the floor sobbing come Friday afternoon (with a bottle of wine)… anyways. I wish everyone GOOD LUCK on test day!

anyone have an effective way to get the transaction cycles.. i feel as when i listen to lectures and take my notes, i understand, but once i start the stupid MCQ's, i get really stumped. It feels like someone hit me 40 times with a shovel and i feel like im reading a bunch of garbage.. — i think this is my weakest area in the entire book. Everything else kind of clicks and makes sense.

Anyone have advice to get a grip on cycles? exams on the 27th.

Practice.. Lot of practice. And when doing your question practice, read the answers to understand why the answer and the other optional answers are wrong. That is what helps me. Dont just memorize the correct answer.

I've taken AUD twice and just some advice… KNOW YOUR RATIOS (I saw someone talking about them in this thread & just remembered that!) – and by “your ratios,” I mean all of them that could possibly be asked not just the basic ones!

Also, if sampling is a problem area for you, you may be in luck. I honestly have seen (iirc) at most 1-2 MC questions about sampling on the tests I've taken. But study everything regardless! Good luck!
