With Audit coming up October 1st, I am getting very nervous. Since I’ve been working as opposed to when I had the summer off, my study time has taken a drastic cut.
However, I feel pretty confident in the material. Tonight I’m wrapping up my final review of A2 and got no less than an 88% on any section of the homework questions–many times I had in the high 90’s or 100. I’m starting to see BEYOND the questions in a way that I never felt like I could with FAR; when I’m working multiple choice, I can see the information that the question is drawing on in my head, if that makes any sense. This enables me to easily eliminate ridiculous answers and usually know the right one pretty quick. To put it in perspective, I started studying around 6:45 tonight and by about 8:30 had finished all of the A2 homework and supplemental questions.
Despite all of this, my nerves persist. Having now passed a part of the exam, I do NOT want to even think about the possibility of losing it in the future (however distant it may be). Really, I don’t ever want to deal with a re-take either. All of the time that studying consumes (and the money for the registration fees) is something I’d prefer to sacrifice only once.
For those of you who have absolutely slayed AUD (and I know there are a lot of you), what do you think made the exam so easy for you? Also, what on earth should I do to prepare for the fabled mystery simulations from left field that occur on AUD?
FAR 07/27/11 - 87
AUD 10/01/11 - 85
BEC 11/15/11 - 87
REG 01/03/12 - 92
