Im planning on taking AUD the first week of April. I just finished the CPAExcel lectures/homework questions and am going to be doing non-stop MCQ's and NINJA note rewriting until I take it. The trick for AUD seems to be, 2 choices are correct, what is the BEST answer? I have a feeling that doing thousands of MCQ's will help alot with that.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!

Hi, I just started Aud using Roger CPA review as well. I can see that most of the MCQs are quite tricky hence lots of practice is needed.

I'm taking it April 16…I remember most of the material from my Audit, Fraud Examination, and ACG Info Systems…but Analytical Procedures are kicking my butt. I have Independence and Professional Responsibilities left….Seems much easier than FAR so I'm just gonna keep reading and doing MCQs. I bought the SIMS from CPAReviewForFree and will do all of the MCQs on that site too..I've been doing really well even on material I have not read yet…I'm kind of excited…can you guys tell? lol….

The good thing about AUD is that the material is not numerical based, so just read and practice the MCQs. AUD is going down on April 16….I'm getting a 98!!.Let's do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm using CPAExcel btw…

I'll be joining you guys. Let's get this party started!! I've got my ammunition ready: Becker, Wiley, CPAReviewForFree, study buddy, a whole window… taking no chances on this. I'll be the one getting a 99. haha i don't care actually, just give me that damn 75!!!

I know AUD is supposed to be “easier” than REG and FAR, but honestly, it's the one giving me the most headache.

    BEC - 67, 79 - (expires 5/24)
    REG - 74, 72, 77 - Key to Passing: RTFQ
FAR - 77 - Chance favors the prepared mind.
    AUD - 64, (5/14) - FREEDOM!! (i hope)

Same here. So far it feels very dry as it is full of theory. I am a calculations persons and enjoyed working on FAR and BEC MCQ's better. But got to deal with this, make this as interesting as possible and pass this in the next testing window.

I really feel so frustrated, for me this looks way more challenging than FAR. After watching Aud1 and Aud2 videos I did about 100 MCQs covering both the chapters and I was shocked that in most of the problems at least 2 choices out of 4 seem to be right!!

Its very difficult for me to select the best answer, therefore, I score between 60% to 65%!! I really don't know how to handle Audit. FAR was much more straightforward as opposed to this section.

I need your advices guys on this. Do you face the problem or maybe that's me only !! I guess lack of Audit experience is the main reason!

Is it advisable to view lectures for all audit topics first and then jump to MCQ's or is it better to do one topic and MCQ for that topic?

So far I have taken, REG AUD and BEC. Aud was the easier of the three.Studying for Bec is easier as a retake

So far since internal controls are part of aud and bec.

    Reg 11/15/2011 - 80
    Aud 02/28/2012 - 81
    Bec 05/31/2012 - 78
Far 08/31/2012 - 83 Do you believe in Miracles, YES !!!

    CPA License received 10/2012 !!
    CFE License received 04/2013 !!
    EA License received

@anand, it seems am gonna change my study strategy. I will be going through all the lectures first then hit the MCQs.

That worked well with me while doing FAR.

I'm taking AUD in NY in late May…haven't really started my studying yet.

Using Wiley book and then planning on supplementing with Jeff's NINJA notes.

1 part down doesn't give me much momentum yet, but I feel like getting 2 down would be a big boost to the psyche.

    BEC - 82
    AUD - 65; retake Feb 2013
    FAR - April 2013
    REG - July 2013?
