AUD in 5 or 6 weeks?

I just noticed a slot opened up for 12:30pm on May 11 (which would be 5 weeks). Should I reschedule for that or keep it at 8am on May 18 (which would be 6 weeks)? I am currently using CPAexcel, Ninja Notes, and Wiley Test Bank and recently started a full-time job, and I don’t have kids or a spouse.

    @ CPA_Romantic:

    My suggestion:

If you are planning to finish the whole AUD by the end of this month, then you have two full weeks for reviewing your weak areas. Go and take the exam on May 11th. I think, its possible when you are fully prepared.

So, Its up to your preparation schedule pal. Hope it helps you.

Lets say you reschedule for the earlier date and don't pass. You receive a 73.

You're going to wish you had that extra week of studying. I would rather overstudy than understudy.

    BEC (11/17/12): 88
    AUD (1/18/13): 76
    REG (2/27/13): 88
    FAR (4/15/13): 90

Thanks guys, you both have valid points. I'm prolly going to stick with the original date on May 18, not only because of what jman6 siad, but also I vaguely remember there is this reschedule fee if you reschedule within 30 days.

Really there is no standard answer. Some people are simply more efficient at studying than others (I am not one of those people), For some people, 5 weeks really could be overstudying depending on how many study hours they get in during that time and how focused they remain. For others, 5 weeks would be virtually impossible. But because you've still not received your first score to see how effective your studying is, I'd err on the side of caution and leave the date as is. If you'd already gotten a 99 on FAR, I might move it up.

Remember there is a LOT of overlap between FAR and AUD so you've done yourself a great favor by scheduling them back to back!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

My exam date is near the end of May, but I've had some problems understanding certain concepts so I don't feel that I'm ready just yet which would mean my exam would carry over into early July (a dreaded thought!). The Wiley Testbank questions are tough, but helpful. Does anyone know if the Testbank questions will take into account the changes that are expected as of June 30th in Audit? As much as I'd like to take the exam before that date, I don't think I'd grasp enough in time to successfully pass. This is my second attempt at Audit. Also, being out of work makes me focus on the cost of retaking it as well.

@GMBxNY As long as the Wiley Test Bank doesn't expire, you should be fine on updates.
