    Good evening everyone!

Truth be told, I’m having a hard time getting dedicated, regulated and motivated to study for FAR. So far I’ve gone thru 1.5 chapters and still have 8.5 chapters left! (I’m using Becker)

Reading other people’s blogs and how to have triumph over each section is encouraging. I’m encourage to see others post their past exam scores and how they continued to study, sacrifice and sit for an exam(s) time and time again. I’m don’t give up easily and I will become a CPA!

If anyone has any advise to share. I’m especially interested in hearing from those whom may have taken FAR more than once and what they did differently to prepare effectively and efficiently. Cheers!

Peace & Love, Peace & Love

Are you taking AUD or FAR? Your post topic said AUD…. either way, getting motivated to tackle a section can be difficult.

I have taken AUD twice so far, and what motivated me was being angry that I failed. Maybe you should ask yourself how long do you want to continue to have to study for CPA exams? Do you really want to have to re-take exams? I hated having to re-study AUD.

You will have to decide how important it is to you. I don't think there is really an easy way other than to just jump in a make yourself study.

Thanks for your response and I'm studying for FAR. You're correct in that I don't want to have to sit and study for the same exam again!

I've been studying each day after work and I'm going to try to incorporate studying before work each day. I've gone thru 2 chapters so far and I understand the concepts and what information to look for in solving a question. It's a lot of material and I'm determined to stay on track.

Good luck with studying! I hope you and I both passed AUD!
