AUD in 10 days!

So, I took my FAR today and don’t know to feel about it. 1 and 2nd testlet were medium and 3rd one was pretty tough. I wasn’t that prepared for the SIMS but actually the questions weren’t that bad. So lets see how everything turns out.

I decided that I might AUD before the end of this testing window. I start working full time from September so thought might just sacrifice the remainder of August and squeeze in AUD.

I have already covered AUD two months ago using Becker. And I think those materials were comparatively easy than FAR.

For those who have taken or are preparing for AUD, what do you guys think about Becker materials? Is it sufficient? Also, do you think 10 days enough to do all the revision?

Also, read in some other posts that SIMs are really tough for AUD and few of them were like from FAR? Can anyone share their recent experience too?

    Thanks guys!

I failed Aud twice with a 73. But then the third time I studied reviewed everything for 2.5

weeks and passed with an 85. I was basically living and breathing it for those 2.5 weeks.

It will help you that you are not working full-time. If you are going to try to squeeze

a review into 10 days, my advice is decide how long you think it will take you

to get through the material and take a couple of practice tests and then spread

that time evenly over 10 days. It can be done, but you will have to be 100% in for

    every day.

Like Marc85 said, it can be done. But you'll have to most kill yourself to do that. If you're willing to do that, then go for it!

    Couple thoughts though:

Don't think of this as review of what you did 2 months ago; think of it has starting from fresh and give it all you've got.

Becker is sufficient, but may not be the most efficient (due to lectures etc). I've heard the Becker book is good, too – due to your schedule, I might suggest reading the book in detail (cover-to-cover) rather than watching the lectures. However, if you need the lectures to learn, then do the lectures!

SIMs vary test to test. I didn't think they were killer, but I didn't think FAR SIMs were killer, either. The key to SIMs is to understand the concepts! SIMs don't have tougher content than the rest of the exam, they just come last and require you to understand the concepts, rather than have good process-of-elimination skills.

Don't forget – worst that happens, you have to take this in Oct or Nov, and you'd have to do that anyway! So you hardly have anything to lose – give it all you've got!
