@biorenb…go on beckers website…click the link for current students and updates for AUD. there is printout that covers changes that arent in the B book.

If you are not familiar with the old stuff you definitely need to check it out…

Yes I am familiar with the audit A as I already tested and did not pass. I found the three page outline of updates so I guess TIP PIE ACDO is still on there lol. thanks for your help!

I just called Becker because I have only been studying version B and was worried. The rep I spoke to double checked with several people. According to Becker if you are taking the exam after July first you only need to study off of version B and there is no reason to supplement version B with the old material from version A. She said Becker has not emailed anyone stating otherwise (I thought I saw on a thread somewhere that this was the case?). She said version B will more than prepare you to take AUD after July 1st.

Version B does not contain the 10 standards. I just called the AICPA and spoke to someone there. He got permission from his boss to issue an expedited request directly to the exam board for an answer on if we are being tested on both the old and new standards.or just the new after July 1st. He said I should have an answer in 2-3 days. I'll post when I hear.

Does that Version B has only first 2 chapters? I have a 2012 Edition and 2013 Version B which has only first 2 chapters. Would that be enough material along with the Ninja updated notes? replies appreciated

Jeff where was what you posted taken from? Website? AICPA didn't seem have an answer to my question and Becker is insisting they have heard nothing about this. At this point I'm spending more time researching what I'm supposed to be studying than studying. ugh.

Thanks for the link to the exam newsletter Jeff. I find the context helpful. After reading your updated notes, and some of AICPA's updates, I'm more comfortable with the clarity standards. I'm charging ahead with my AUD rematch in early July.

@ Jeff. Thanks! I guess I missed that somewhere between my 3 a.m. study sessions, full time job, two kids, coaching softball, and a husband – who at this point – barely remembers my name. So what your telling me is I paid $1000 for Becker's supposedly updated version B only to discover that version B does not contain everything they said it did. I decided to pay the $1000 so I wouldn't have to spend time piecemealing old and new – and specifically told the rep that. Do I sound mad? I am.
