Can you maybe give a little more context? I mean occurrence is a management assertion that a transaction actually took place. So I guess control occurrence could just be whether a certain control is in place that management claims to be in place. Seems like existence would fit better than occurrence though.

Thanks a lot for your reply.You are right.It was a yes/no question relating to control occurrence.After reading your reply I understood that the question must be asking if the control is operating effectively or not.
