I tried to do all MCQ’s but I thought this was not the best thing to do right now. I thought I would take Final Exam #1, and then review the right/wrong answers, and do practice exam questions from now until tomorrow, and then take Final Exam #2..

Boy oh boy.. some of the SIMs for Final Exam #1.. were tough.. esp the tick marks.. wow. It was a complete guess fest!!

These were my scores.. PLEASE ADVISE:

MC1: 67

MC2: 80

MC3: 70

Risk – 50

Internal Control – 60

Tickmarks – 62

Statistical Sampling – 70

Comparative Financial Statements – 75

Government Auditing – 20 (WOW)

Research – 0 – WTF!!! – Off by one number.. stupid research!

I do plan on reviewing flashcards as well.. maybe… im not sure what I should do at this point.. I feel like reviewing the exam results, and flashcards is probably the best thing now.. I am not good at cramming…

on my AUD final exams I got 94% of the MC and 87% of the sims on #1, and I think around 85% of the MC and Sims on #2, but I don't remember the exact scores for #2. I thought #2 was considerably harder. I got a 99 on AUD.

Focus on what you got wrong, and understand what you got wrong. It looks like you have two passing scores already. How do you feel about the material compared to where you were on those two? It looks like you had some room to spare on both of those. I don't think he % on the Sims really correlate to how you will do on the Sims overall. I mean, like you said…if you get one # wrong on the research, is that really 1/6th of the 40% that you're automatically down? I doubt it.

Just make sure you review what you got wrong, and understand why you got it wrong. Also, go over what you got right, but were maybe unsure of, and make sure you got it right for the RIGHT REASON.

Also wanted to say that I thought final exam #2 was definitely harder than my actual AUD exam…and that on my AUD exam, I thought testlet #1 was BY FAR harder than by #2 and #3, but that was obviously not the case…so maybe Becker prepares you well for the harder questions and elements on the exam.

I sure hope so.. but im a bit worried.. I scored on the low end on the MCQ's, especially the sims. And yes, I agree the research question is not going to be that big on the exam. Instead of putting 508.14 I put 508.16 or something like that.

Im just spending my time going over the results of exam #1, including the ones I had right. Tomorrow Im going to do #2, and practice exams until I sleep.. hopefully ill pass..
