AUD Exam in two weeks and its on like Donkey Kong!!!

I’m getting prepared for my 2nd bout with AUD. I did my best and attempted to take the exam before the material changed after July 1st. To my dismay, I did not pass. I know now that I didn’t prepare well enough and with less than 5 weeks of studying.

Since that time, I’ve decided take another stab at AUD and my approach has been different as follows:

    – Logging my time of study (Believe it or not has helped)

    – Being consistent with my study has helped and I know better than to go home afterwork until I have a least 2 hours of studying under my belt. (My couch and Xbox sucks me in like a Blackhole every time !)

    – I’m utilizing Becker and I have continually reviewed each chapter as I went along. I’ve been taking “progress tests” along the way each week. (i.e. Completing ch. 3 and taking a progress test to review chapters 1, 2, & 3)

    – The next two weeks will involve me going thru 3 progress exams of all the chapters and reviewing simulations on a daily basis.

    – I don’t know if my change of study tactics is a recipe for disaster or success?

    – Lastly, these are the words that stare me back in the face every morning on my mirror “Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.” (John Wooden).

Wish me the best of luck and I’m open to any other study ideas that you may have.

Peace and Love, Peace and Love…

    Good luck!

I have another battle with FAR and AUD in the next window and am determined to pass! I have also changed my study habits – hoping it's a recipe for success 🙂

    3XBEC:75 * 4XREG:82 * 4XFAR:76 * 7XAUD:77

Call me crazy or a Maverick but I'm taking the same exams as well. This will be my first FAR exam. I hear its no cup of tea or a walk in the park.

However, I'm hoping for double-take down on both these exams in this upcoming testing window.

    AUD – 10.1.13

    FAR – 11.30.13

    BEC – possibly

I struggled with audit as well and had to retake it. Your plan sounds good, but beware of inadvertently memorizing the Becker questions. I did so many MCQs that I could tell you the answer before I finished reading it, not because I understood it, but I had memorized the answer. I made 80-90s on my practice tests and scored a 69 on my actual exam. Darn those tricky questions.

To pass on my second attempt, I went through Becker again, did extra questions on cpareveiwforfree.com, and I bought the ninja 10 point combo to squeeze by with a 76. Good luck!
