Any recommendations for how many MCQ to do per night?

I have Wiley test bank and Becker.

What else should I do? This is my 4th attempt and I don’t want to retake it ANYMORE! I also don’t want to study for the new updates starting in July.

Please advise. How many is enough?

    Thanks in advance!

You NEED to understand the material. Get the ninja notes, jeff explained everything in a manner that is more understandable. Do practice as many mcqs as you can and know Internal control and the reports by heart.

I would do about 100 per day when studying, but the week before I upped it to 200-250 per day plus a few sims. Maybe a bit of overkill, but it did the job!

    FAR - 95
    REG - 93
    AUD - 91
    BEC - 85

I did 100 questions on Wiley, just finished now.

    I got around 65 to 70%.

I hope the exam will be easier than these questions. I feel like it has been the first 3 times, but who knows… theres obviously a reason I keep failing.

Though I do score upper 80%s on Becker

Thanks for the input I appreciate it guys!

    Don't focus on the #.

If you are scoring in the 60-70 range on your fourth time studying the material, you are lacking an understanding of the concepts. Get the Ninja, focus on the material. Take notes on whatever you are missing or guessing on.

Try to slow down on the questions. Try to answer before reading the choices to test your understanding.

If you can read the question, then (without looking at answers) explain what it is referring to and why the answer is what you think it should be, then you know you “get it”. See how much you can recall on the subject matter.

Like, if it an mcq is to define “Going Concern” – first, define going concern without looking. Then remind yourself going concern can have any type of opinion, if it is Disclosed it can be Unqualified or a Disclaimer. If it is Undisclosed it will be Qualified or Adverse.

Then look at the question again, and pick your answer.

    Good Luck!!!

    Yea, thats a good idea.

Though truth be told the 3rd time I took it, I studied probably 5 hours altogether.

Thanks for the input once again!

I got the NINJA notes…. I feel that so far they are helpful.. They help give a different perspective, and since you have already tested 3 times, these notes will probably serve you well..

Im scheduled for the 24th… Makes me mad I got 74 last time..
