Honestly, I dont know what to tell you. I would def say you need to do some more studying, but since I have not passed audit my opinion means little. I will post my scores from Beckers final reviews for a benchmark for you. Could anyone who passed audit and took the Becker final exams elaborate on my scores also?

    Final Exam 1

    Testlet #1- 73

    Testlet #2 – 86

    Testlet #3 – 80

    Sims

    1 – 80

    2 – 60

    3 – 100

    4 – 70

    5 – 56

    6 – 80

    7 – 100

Final Exam 2 – I thought was much more difficult

    Testlet #1 – 73

    Testlet #2 – 60

    Testlet #3 – 80

    Sims

    1 – 75

    2 – 78

    3 – 80

    4 – 45

    5 – 50

    6 – 89

    7 – 0

I missed the research by 1 decimal. I thought it was pretty unfair if ask me.

I feel decent but I still would appreciate some feedback. Im going to review my testlets again tonight and do some more MCQ in Wiley and Gleim tomorrow before my exam this week.

@futuremdcpa..wow scores are almost identical to yours…I had 50s in my REG, and got 85 on actual.

@futuremdcpa.,do you think I should take exam on Oct 5? of Oct 10? how many days should I review more…I have already review A1-A3…I feel like I am ready to take the exam..

The Becker exams were a good indicator for me up until Audit. I would usually do 10 points higher on the real exam as opposed to Becker but with Audit, I got my highest Becker score yet ( an 80) and actually went down on the real exam to a 71. Who knows!

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    USC MAcc- Fight on!

They say good things come to those who wait, but only those things that are left by those who hustle.

@Shay – I would look over some of the SIM's, since you scored a bit on the lower side, and review even the questions you have right. You have a whole week left. I would definatley make sure you knew the different reports, whats modified in each report, (A1-A3), and A4. That doesn't mean skip A5, and A6. Those are important as well. I would just do progress tests from now until October 5th. Is this your first final exam for AUD or the second?

    @mgoloubenko
    – Good luck on your retake!!!

@futuremdcpa..Yea I just took Final exam 1. haven't taken exam 2 yet (taking AUD first time) Usually I know, these exams are harder. I want to take FAR this window too. this is why I am little concern about the dates to pick…Plus AUD is more about memorization, I just dont want to forget by the time of my exam date.

@mgoloubenko..I really like Becker review materials.

Before I started studying for audit, I knew nothing about audits. I did good in my one audit class because the class was curved very high. I think if you follow Becker and put in more study time you will pass! I was supposed to take far this week, but I pushed it back for a whole 2 months until mid nov. and purchased the final review from Becker. Since its my last, I want to make sure I OVER study then under study and fail.. You are right though, it is mostly about memorization, the MCQ's were VERY similar, if not almost word for word from Becker.. the SIM's.. are from HELL! I did get one SIM that was actually very similar to some of the ones in Becker.. Study HARD these last few days and you will pass! Take Final Exam 2.. my scores for FE#2 are: 76, 67, 73 for MCQ, and 87, 75, 80, 65, 50, 58, 100. Also use the research function! I found some answers that I put down as wrong, and changed them before my time went up! Its helpful..

@futuremdcpaFAR would be my last tooo hopefully. But I want to leave enough time for it, because 1 month isnt enough for 10 chapters!!..You should definitely take your time for FAR. don't rush it…I forgot to mention with my AUD practice exam, I had 1 hr and 5 mins left before exited out.

Remember though, depending on the level of difficulty of the questions you have on the exam, you might not have that much time at the end! It took me around 3hrs and 15 minutes to complete everything, including using the Auth. Lit. to research my SIMs. If you do Beckers MCQ's, the questions on the exam should hopefully be easy… But you never know.. these exams love throwing curve balls. Yeah, I was becoming mentally exhausted.. I started doing work maybe 2-3 hours a day, where as when I first started I was doing 10 hrs a day for the other exams… FAR is not hard, just a lot of material.. and I am def. going to take my time, and ensure I pass this exam by the end of this quarter!

Good luck to you.. and honestly just stay calm, and youll do fine.. you got an avg on the MCQ's of 70.. Usually 10-12 points more is what your real exam score could be.. DONT SLACK OFF!! Go over the SIM's you scored low on, and keep reviewing the questions from becker!

    Good luck!!!!!!

future- you scored that high on your becker tests and you moved the tests out? you'll get a 99 when you finally do take it.

shay- I bet you'll do great. I don't know what section is what because I didn't use Becker but it sounds like you have it down.

Just out of curiosity, for those that are using becker, are you watching all the lectures first then working the problems or splitting the material up into sections and then answering the MCQs?

@Sandra – I passed AUD already! I rescheduled FAR though, and bought Final Review from Becker! I need a few days off.. Im burned out, even with the adderall now I can only do 4 hrs a day.. I dont know how you did it, but I envy you! I am sure I will pass this quarter!

@BrentH – I would usually watch the whole chapter lecture, then for example, REG Chapter 1, had lets say 5 subtopics, I would read each subtopic and then answer all the questions for that particular topic. Then I would move on to the next subtopic and read it, and do the corresponding MCQ's. I believe I passed because I did exactly what Becker instructed me to do.. There are no shortcuts with this exam.
