1st attempt at AUD – Weaker on MCQ’s, Comparable on SIM’s – 63

2nd attempt at AUD – Stronger on MCQ’s, Weaker on SIM’s -74 !!!

Seriously?! I attribute this to my 2nd AUD exam having NO Journal Entries (My strong-point/reason I got comparable on SIMS last time ) and the fact that I lost stamina at the end and didn’t utilize the research tab.

Here’s to a retake in April….

A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

When I took Audit it was what I thought was my hardest subject but now I think they are all hard! 🙂 I was able to pass and I really attribute that to the listen and learn lectures by Yaeger. Gary is SOOOOOO dry but if you can push past that, he gives lots of useful tips and mnemonics. I listened to it all the time, commuting, at my desk. I had the lectures also but it was not clicking until I re-enforced with the listen and learn lectures. I hope that helps!! 74 is such a drop kick. Good luck!!!

@ CPAMan, that really bites! I do know where I went wrong, but I swear I still deserved a 75 on that exam!

@ nolife, I am proud of my 11 point raise! Thanks! But really?! One point?!

I'm not discouraged because I know I can pass it, just REALLY don't feel like sitting at Prometric for another 4 hours…

The key to passing is NOT dropping the ball on exam day… it doesn't matter if you've spent the last 6 months preparing for an exam if you don't give it all you've got on exam date. It all comes down to being able to poor out all your knowledge on exam day. It is also very helpful to use the Research tab as much as you can.

@jenuno01- That is what happened to me when I took REG the second time. The MCQs were so easy, so when the Sims came along, I freaked out and practically surrendered. So, I was just adding up random numbers. I could've tried harder, but those Sims scared me so much that I let it get the best of me. So, there I got it…..the dreaded 74!

But last weekend when I took it, my exam was tough but I refused to surrender. I kept on fighting no matter how hard it was. Let's hope it worked. I honestly believe I did the best I could. We shall see if it paid off this time around….
