I feel your pain!!! Just found out I failed another AUD retake with the same grade – even though this time I studied like nobody's business compared to the last retake πŸ™

    In Texas as well

Good Luck on your retake – This time we will kill this beast!!!

I'm right there with you. I felt like I did the best I possibly could on my audit retake.

I guess all that's left for me to do is get back up and give it the best I can possibly do again.

The first thing I did after seeing my score was apply for a retake – before I could have the chance to reconsider (this was also before I started crying because I failed AGAIN!!!)

23K, I had a very similar score on my first Audit exam attempt. I attempted the exam a second time this past October and came away with a passing score. To prepare for my 2nd attempt, I went through my lecture course (Roger CPA Review) and material again including all assigned homework (Wiley Audit Book) and Wiley Test Bank. I practiced roughly 2,000 MCQ for my second attempt and I felt pretty prepared for the exam and even remember seeing some practice questions repeated on the exam verbatim. I'm not sure how you prepared for your first attempt, but I would recommend that you hammer out those MCQs and at minimum practice at least 2,000.

AUDIT - 78 (10/28/13)- ROGER CPA REVIEW / Wiley Test Bank
    BEC - 76 (02/09/14) - ROGER CPA REVIEW / Wiley Test Bank
REG - 88 (01/30/15) - ROGER CPA REVIEW / Wiley Test Bank / NINJA Test Bank & Notes
FAR - 80 (4/10/15) - ROGER CPA REVIEW / Wiley Test Bank / NINJA Test Bank & Notes

It took me 4 trys before I passed AUD.

Main thing I changed in the last attempt was – doing the MCq's twice. Listening to the Ninja Audio every day when I was driving to work.

I really concentrated on my weak areas and did as many SIM's as possible on them because I always failed on the SIM's.

I read every single questions right answers and wrong answers so I would ensure I got it right because I knew it was right and not because i assume it would be the right one.

I made small nugget notes to help me digestion facts better. I read the Audit reports out laugh so I would understand what comes in it and how it comes through.

I did not sit and memorize things. This time I said I need to understand them. It made the difference for me to move from a 72 to an 89.

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

    @ GoGatorsCPA

I did roughly the same number of MCQs and studied the same, if not more for my AUD retake than my FAR retake (finally passed!!!) and ended up getting the same score as last retake πŸ™
