I have been lurking on the boards for about a year now. I finally decided to post something. Sooooo, I took Auditing on 11/30/2011. I was very comfortable with the material so I wasn’t surprised by any of the multiple choice questions. I do believe my testlets were harder each testlet. The questions on the third testlet were focused on very specific topics and I kid you not, I had one question that was like eight lines long. OK, maybe six. I was like really AICPA…I don’t have time to read this essay. Anyhoo, (I meant hoo not how), I still spent about 20 minutes on each testlet and maybe 25 on the last one. I reviewed four problems because I figured I had too much time left. I try not to go back and review to avoid second guessing myself. They say you first choice is usually your best choice when you aren’t too sure about something. Plus, I got questions straight from the Gleim test bank. I’d say 30% of my questions were straight out of my review software. So, that worked in my favor.
So, I was dreading Sims because I was pretty confident on the MCs. I just knew they’d give me a SIM about Battery and Cell Technology (jk…but that’s how confident I was on the MCs). Time: 2 hours 49 minutes…Press Continue…screen freezes, blinks, and whites out, and up pops my simulations. I did the research first. Btw, I had two of them. One was completely vague. I was thinking, Gee I hope that one isn’t counted but if it is, please let it be right. My other sims were wimpy. I was looking for a drag-down knock-out fight and all I got was a tap on my wrist. So, either I was overprepared and knew the material very well or I didn’t know as much as I should have and just bombed this test.
I think we all may feel this way during at least one of the tests.
Btw, I used Gleim only to prepare for AUD. Gleim worked with Regulation so here’s to passing!
FAR Passed
REG Passed
AUD Passed
BEC PassedAll aboard, this train's leaving. Next stop, TBD!
