Attendance record for Audit Exam

I’m wondering if there are other people who took Audit in February that hasn’t received record of attendance on their online account. I’m in California, so we receive score information through the CA State Board of Accountancy, but since my exam on 2/28 nothing has been posted.

Did anyone else take Audit during the same time? My computer had trouble logging off, so I had to log off using another computer… but I was told it wouldn’t affect my exam.

What should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I hope there’s just a delay in recording attendance and my score hasn’t been lost! I’ve emailed the State Board of Accountancy, but haven’t heard from them.

Did you get an official seal saying you sat for the exam? Prometric should have given you a confirmation page. That is a little reassuring. Have you tried calling Prometric? Do you know what the site says if you are a “no show”?

CPA Someday- Yes I got the attendance record paper with the official seal on it. I haven't tried calling prometic, probably a good idea. I have no clue about “no shows” I do know, that I got confirmation from prometric one day before my exam so I'm not sure what happened. I will contact prometric and see if they're better help than the State Board of Accountancy. UGH!!! This is the worst nightmare…. especially since I felt good about the exam!

    Thanks for your advice!

I think there has been a delay. I just logged into my state's (Texas) site, and it says that it received confirmation of my 2/18 test on 3/1, which was 11 days later.

By contrast, when I took REG last November, the confirmation was listed as received only 2 days after my test.

    BEC - 10/18/2010 - 79
    FAR - 10/28/2010 - 82
    AUD - 11/04/2010 - 73; 02/18/2011 - 86 - IT'S OVER!!!!!!
    REG - 11/21/2010 - 83

    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!

If you're in a non-NASBA state you would go to your state board of accountancy website. I am in CA and you should see it under the status section of your online account.

Tulip- It's a little reassuring knowing your attendance record just got released for your exam you took mid February. However, I'm not sure if CA is having the same issue…. ugh!

for NASBA States go to nasba website and go into your state > then go to “my application” and enter your jurisdiction ID number and birth date. Then check the status date (check if the status date if after the date you took the exam) and the details.

Thx Herbert all I got was this

    Status date: 03/02/2011

All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but scores have not been received.

What does application date mean? It didn't go into detail like which.part it was.

Well look at that! Thanks Herbert!

@Herbie – that's what mine says. I took my test on 2/28 and the status date is 3/3. The application date must be the day you applied for your NTS.

    FAR 82
    AUD 81 (2007), 73, 80
    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!

if your status date if after your exam date (like in your case) it means they got the exam from prometrics. When the AICPA releases the score to NASBA the status date will change and it will say “scores have been received”. I usually get that status the day after the AICPA releases the score and only then the loophole has some value (for old NASBA states only). WOW, I feel ashamed of myself!! I know every single detail of the scoring process, but that only means I'm a freak or something : (

CPSU75 – definitely call the CA Board of Accountancy. My status was updated to “attended” within a day or so on every exam I've taken…

application date is the date NASBA processed your last NTS ; )

    FAR 88 - BEC 86 - AUD 90 - REG 85

Thanks for all the advice! I actually received an email from the State Board of Accountancy confirming they received notice of my attendance for my audit exam. YAY!!! Apparently sometimes the online account doesn't always update with attendance information…. good to know!
