After I started studying for AUD I noticed everyone says take FAR first and be strong in JE's. I do no financial accounting at work and I've only taken REG…am I doomed for AUD even if I study hard?

I took AUD first and scored an 82. Took FAR second and scored a 58. There's your answer. If you study, you'll pass. I studied for AUD, didn't study for FAR. Good luck.

I hate financial and I got an 85 when I took Audit. I took financial after and got a 55 my first try. I finally passed it in Aug with an 83 but I had to be mentally present during my studies and give it 100%.

AUD is substantially conceptual in nature. I do have a sufficient knowledge of financial accounting, but found it quite useless on AUD. There may be some journal entry questions, however not nearly enough to be solely responsible for failure. I know I bombed the AJE's and I still scored a 95. Know the concepts and you will be fine.

I agree with the others. If you put in the study time you will be fine. I took AUD first and failed with a 73, however I was finishing up my masters degree at the same time, big mistake. In my situation there was not enough to do both study and finished my degree and both suffered. I buckled down and studied for FAR the next test window and passed with an 80. If you study and know the material you should do fine. I have retaken AUD and feel confident that I will pass. Still waiting.
