Hey guys, I sat for REG yesterday. I feel like it could go either way and the more I think about it I am thinking I failed. I am trying to put that out of my mind though since the score release won’t be for another 18 days!

I took AUD and got a 68 several months back. I am confident I can take the exam on August 31st if I start studying now and assuming an exam slot opens up for that day.

My plan is to re-write ninja notes for an average of 3 hours a day (27 hours total), do multiple choice questions and sims for an average of 4 hours a day (36 hours total), and listen to ninja audio whenever I am in the car (probably about a total of 7 hours).

What do you guys think? Do you think I can do it????? This way if I knock AUD out of the park I won’t feel so bad if I fail REG, but I guess if I fail both that would be quite a downer!!!!

70 hours total to prepare for AUD isn't enough IMHO. And I understand you've already taken AUD but I treated every retake as if it were the first time.

What's your study schedule like? are you working? For me two weeks doesn't seem like a lot of time but if you feel comfortable with the material and have the time to study it then its worth a shot! This way you can take AUD begin studying for FAR, then clear FAR (hopefully) and sit for AUD again in november in case you dont pass.

@ahugemistake – I have the time to study that I outlined in my original post. It would not over work me, and it isn't too aggressive with my time if you know what I mean.

I did 50 MCQ's yesterday just to gauge where I'm at to see if the gap is too large or fair between current knowledge and what I would have to study, and I got 65% correct.

Has anyone tried this short of an agressive timeline like this with AUD or any other section for that matter?

I think it's aggressive, but since September is a closed month and October is a new window anyway, if you're ok with possibly losing your exam fees (if you fail), then why not just give it a shot. Personally I would not do it, but if you really want to try to get AUD in before the window closes, it comes down to whether or not you think ~70 hours is enough time for you to re-study.

And I wouldn't study only things you got wrong on your practice set of MCQ, you pretty much need to study everything like it's the first attempt since you never know what topics or questions you'll actually get.

Okay, new plan. I study like I have outlined, get my NTS, and by mid-next week if my trending scores are 80+ and assuming an exam slot is open, I go for it! If my trending score is still low I wait until the next window, or if no exam slot is open then it just wasn't meant to happen. That makes more sense, right?

I studied about 60 hours for BEC and got an 80.

the only downside is the $$$ so if you dont mind potentially wasting the $$ you might as well go for it.

I didn't put in a huge amount of time for AUD specifically, but I had just finished advanced audit with a really good professor, so that helped a lot.

Basically, I studied fairly casually from my textbook for maybe 2-3 weeks, and then when I got my Wiley books and test bank I crammed for exactly 2 weeks (about as much cramming as one can do when you work full time) and passed. It was kind of a last minute decision due to the urging of my fall term professor to sit for it in January.
