I took AUD-BEC in July, I wounder when and how should I receive my advisory scores? how long it takes to be released before the official score?

The questions by another way is, if CA board declared that they will issue the scores in mid September, when should I expect the advisory scores?

    thanks and regards

The AICPA releases the scores to your state board, so you are truly at the mercy of the AICPA. Once your state board gets them, depending on your state, you can usually see your score within 24-48 hours.

They should be released around the 3rd (full) week of september. Around Sep 21-22 within a few days.

If you twitter, you can get NASBA tweets around that time that will say something to the effect of “today the AICPA released 23,945 AUD scores to NASBA”

Then you start feverisly hitting the “refresh” button on your state website, then the website crashes right after dinner time, you slowly start to come unglued, finally pour a glass of wine, fall asleep and when you wake up the next morning the scores are there 🙂

    Just my personal experience…..

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

@Abdel – In your CBA account, the scores first show up as advisory. Mine turned to official within 48 hours after it showed up in the account. We are still looking at the third week in September at the earliest. Sucks.

Take heart my fellow candidates. Talked to a friend yesterday who took the bar exam in July. She gets her scores in December.

My first action as an attorney would be to sue them for making me wait 5 months!

@mla1169- How many parts is the bar exam?? If it's just one exam, then we have it worse. We have 4 tests to pass!!!

CPAMan, its one part that takes 2 full days. Cumulatively we wait longer, for sure! Friend said she couldn't do what we do too.

That said, I am not a patient person at all!

so for Qtr 4 are we going to have to wait till December to see our scores or will it be released like a few weeks or or month after we take. For example if I take my Exam in October when can I expect to see my score?

    FAR 76
    REG 76(2x)
    BEC FAILED (2x)

gotta, sounds like it will be week 3 December as well. I thought after the first of the year was when we may see improvements to the score releases. (fingers crossed I'm here only cheering others and not waiting again!)

@mIa – Why do you think it will be 3rd week of december? Hasnt the AICPA already come out and said that 4th quarter scores will be released in waves? I am anticipating scores 3-4 weeks after test date for 4th quarter.

Mini, I am just not convinced they have their act together on changing it LOL. Purely my own speculation and not based on anything factual, just thinking I'd rather plan for the worst and be pleasantly surprised than get my hopes all up and have to wait until Christmas Eve anyway 🙂

    Q. When can I expect to receive my scores after October 2011?

    A. During the 2006-2010 testing windows , candidate scores were released in two rounds: The first round approximately one week before the end of the testing window, and the second approximately two weeks after the end of the testing window. In addition, not all candidates who tested early in a window were eligible for the first round of score release. Candidates who took test forms with new test content that required additional analysis and review before scoring were not eligible for the first round of score release.

With CBT-e, improvements have been introduced into the process. Beginning with the October/November 2011 testing window, scores will be released faster and more frequently.

The first round of score release will be approximately one month after the beginning of the testing window. Subsequent score releases will be made every two weeks after the initial release.

In addition, with very few exceptions (see below), candidates who test early in a window will be eligible for the first round of score release.

    Q. Are there any differences in score release by Exam section (AUD, FAR, REG, BEC)?

    A. Yes. Candidates who take the BEC section may get their scores in a subsequent release due to additional analyses that may be required for the written communication tasks. Also note that written communication tasks now appear in the BEC section only.

    FAR 76
    REG 76(2x)
    BEC FAILED (2x)
    AUD FAILED (2x)

"When you don't give up, YOU CANNOT FAIL"
