Hey everyone. I’m taking Audit on 1/29 so as of today I have three weeks left. I’ve been studying for a month already, about 15-25 hours a week. Audit is really not my forte and I don’t like it at all, I’ve been having a tough time staying motivated and focused, so I know I need to make these three weeks count. I’d love some advice/feedback on my plan from here on out, as well as study methods that have worked for you. I know I can do it because lots of people only have three weeks total to prepare for this. My challenge is getting into the right state of mind.
I use Roger. My plan is to spend up to a week each (hopefully less) on my weakest chapters, Internal Control, Audit Evidence, and Audit Sampling (yeah, horrible areas to be weak in), and a solid review of Reports as well. I’ve heard these are the pretty heavily tested areas. In addition I will be hitting lots of MCQ practice, a couple mock exams, and I’m considering purchasing Ninja as well for more MCQ practice.
I really want to pass this thing and be halfway there before tax season picks up but I’m not feeling very confident about it.
