Advice for first time test taker AUD tomorrow?

I’m in the library procrastinating now. I’ve reviewed, taken Becker exams and progress tests. All since early June. I’m eerily calm probably due to the point that I know I won’t actually be able to learn anything new today and that whatever I know, is what I will know tomorrow. I will probably begin to get anxious as I get closer to the exam tomorrow morning when I get up.

I am not extremely comfortable with A4 and am horrible with ratios, (hope I don’t have any and I can’t learn them while anxious)

What’s the best strategy less than 24 hours from the exam?

Sounds like you're good to go. First test is always the most difficult. I know this sounds silly but go into Becker and make sure that your question text is at 120%. This is the most similar font size that you will find at Prometric. It sounds stupid but it took me a bit to get used to on my first test because I had the font standard for Becker. It's little things like that that make the test more comfortable. Otherwise take 2 big deep breaths when you sit down at Prometric before you press start to settle the nerves. Good luck, you're in great hands with Becker.

Good luck, DavidB1990!!! If you've done the Becker final exams, you have experienced much of what the actual test is like. Just pretend you are doing one of those again (to help you relax a bit). At the point you sit down, it is what it is, so just do your best. Fortunately most people say they have plenty of time on this test, so don't feel pressured to rush too much either.

As an encouragement, I had NO ratios on my exam (which is unusual, I hear, but it can happen). I had lots of people praying for me that day, and evidently God was listening! 🙂 I'll say a prayer for you as well. Let us know how it goes!

    FAR - 92 (4/27/12)
    AUD - 96 (7/17/12)
    BEC - 92 (8/30/12)
    REG - 91 (11/12/12)

You may have heard this one already, but be sure to use the authoritative literature on the simulations (not just the research sim). You should have plenty of time, and you may be able to find answers that way for some of the sims.
