8 Days until AUD…Final Review

    So I just got through all 6 chapters of Becker for AUD. I’ve done all the lectures, and MC questions. Gonna do the sims these next few days.

    So far I’ve scored on the MC questions:

    A1: 78%
    A2: 80%
    A3: 73%
    A4: 72%
    A5: 83%
    A6: 85%

    I’m trying to gauge my progress thus far. These next 8 days I’m going to literally study 10 hrs a day and go over everything again in the Becker course, as well as do the sims, and learn how to do the research questions.

    Would I be likely to pass if I do a final review like this for these next 8 days?

    The audit questions on the CPA exam are very subtle. There may be three answers that appear to be correct but you have to read the fine detail to get the correct answer.

    For the audit exam section I would ask myself two big questions:

    1: Am I able to answer a majority of my MCQ questions correctly by being able to identify the language that distinguishes the subtlety between the right and wrong answers?

    2: Am confident in understanding the entire audit process?

    I call the audit section of the Fifty Shades of Grey of the exam. The advantage with the audit section as well, is that everything is part of a big picture. Evidence gathering, Substantive tests, test of controls, audit report.
