    The other 51.28% get to fork over more money and time. I hate this process! My friend works on wall street, makes $500,000 a year advising folks in the equity markets and you know what license he needs. Zippo.

    I can understand a thorough competency test, but why are the questions so tricky. “If a building burned down would you use attribute or variable sampling to count the smoldering pile of crap remaining?

    For REG, it might be only 41% that are happy because that was the pass rate on Q1 2011.

    @CPAMan

    Don't say that!! I took REG and I really need to pass for my own sanity!

    48%? You're being generous! 2011 1st quarter passing rate for Aud was 43.88%..and that was the highest! 🙁

    Actually 6 days. AICPA says March 8. Or later if one's state is not a NASBA state.

    Nope, the AICPA recently changed when they announce score release. They are now announcing after scores have been posted, not right before they start posting. So they will start posting scores on March 7th and have them completed on the 8th. You may very well get your score on the 8th, but some of us will get them on the 7th.

    Jeff hasn't been wrong yet… https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-scores-results-release/

    From the NASBA Facebook page…

    National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)

    Announcement: We are no longer posting an update when the AICPA releases scores to us. We will post an announcement when scores have been processed, released to boards & are ready to be checked by candidates.

    The published dates in the CPA Exam Score Release Timeline are when candidates can expect NASBA to have completed score release to either state boards or candidates.

    Soo if my score is released on the 7th, will california receive them on the 8th?

    If the CBA receives it early enough in the evening, then yes. Sometimes CA doesnt get scores until after 10pm Pacific time in which case the scores are delayed an extra day.

    @misanthrope – I don't think anything has changed in the process except the date that NASBA makes the announcement. They used to tweet right before they started uploading scores and now they just wait until the next day when they are done. So I would guess it's the same relative amount of time as previous score releases for you.

    @apbandj: Not for me 🙂 I Live in the non-NASBA state of Illinois.
