I am currently studying for FAR and plan on sitting for this part on the 25th of this month… My review course starts on the 31st for AUD but I do have the materials now…. If I schedule my AUD test on the 29th of November is that enough time? thoughts? I can typically study about 25-30+ hours a week… So it’d be about 4 1/2 weeks if I take a couple days off after my FAR section….

I’d like to get this out of the way before holidays as my next review course (BEC) doesn’t start until the 23rd of Jan and if I fail (OH DON’T SAY THAT!) one (or both eek) of the two parts then I can review and take in early Jan…. thoughts?

Yes it is enough time (I hope). It seems you and I are on the same schedule this window. After FAR on Oct. 25th, I will begin studying for AUD and that will give me 5 weeks. So I say Heck Yes you can pass with that amount of time studying. Especially if you're studying 25+ hours per week.

Thanks for the vote of confidence jjm1181… maybe wait and see if I pass FAR before fueling my ego 🙂 ha! I sure do hope that it is enough time! Glad to know someone is in the same boat as me.

My plan is to not even look at my FAR score before taking AUD as it will throw off my studying and upset me if I fail …. let's see if I can stay away for that long!

Glad you said yes as I booked my test for the 29th since the 30th is already booked!

It's about what I did. I studied from approx 6/1 to my test on 7/11 and scored a 75. If your background in audit is poor it might be difficult.

    Reg 8/31/11 80

My background in audit is poor. Dang it! Oh well. Guess I'll have study effectively.

I had an auditing course, however, how much of it I remember THAT is the question… we will see! 🙂

I think that that is enough time as long as you stay focused and study effectively. And if you can stay awake to study AUD for that many hours in a row… I had a hard time marathon studying for AUD because it put me to sleep. I recommend loud, upbeat music and lots of caffeine.

seriously, i'm not the type of person that crammed in college but cramming for these exams is the way to do it.

    BEC - 88
    AUD - 85
    FAR - 81
