    Hi guys,

This is my 3rd time taking AUD and I feel extremely exhausted because although I know the content pretty well, the sims kill me every time. I freak out and my mind blocks any knowledge I have. As a result, I always get “Stronger” on the MCQs and “Weaker” on the sims. If you went through something similar, please advise on how to remain calm and positive regardless of the difficulty level my sims may have. Thanks!

This may seem a bit random, but, anytime I took really good quality HONEY before an exam, I'd score 100%. It is brain fuel…Also try brain octane oil…also brain fuel..

I thought the audit sims were harder than the other exams because most of the MCQ are very theoretical, and then all of a sudden you switch over to sims and have to apply the info a high level. I don't know what your study routine has been but you may want to spend more time practicing sims for Audit than the others, just for that reason. Everybody says that you cannot prepare for sims and while this is true to an extent, practicing them will help you learn to deal with the anxiety on exam day. Also, as a general strategy on sims for every section, it helps to take a step back and scan the questions and required answer formats (picking from a list, direct entry, etc.) before reading the setup material. This will give you an idea of what to look for in the background info and exhibits.
