3.5 weeks until I take AUD (first section ever) How do I spend it?

    I started studying for AUD June 6, and am finishing A6 tomorrow. My exam date is July 27. This gives me around 3.5 weeks left to study and review.

    At my disposal (besides Becker Self Study for Audit) I have the Becker flashcards and Ninja notes.

    I plan on writing and rewriting those ninja notes (Is that a good idea? and will this actually help me retain knowledge?)

    Also Becker has 2 final review exams I think, when should I take them, at what point in terms of closeness to the exam?

    Any other suggestions? I’m very nervous!

    (Took it easy this weekend)

    I am in pretty much the same position, although I only have 2 weeks left and have an out-of-town trip planned for this coming weekend, which will cut into my study time. Thank goodness for July 4th holiday off from work! I am interested in hearing everyone's responses as well.

    I also have Becker's Final Review product as well as what you mentioned. Trying to pull a reasonable schedule together. Don't think I have enough time to rewrite a bunch of stuff, so may have to settled for re-reading instead. Hoping to redo all my homework questions and SIMS as well as the AICPA released questions, then try the Final Review product (if I have time). Planning to try my final exams the weekend before the exam, I guess. Need to fit my flashcard review in somewhere as well. Haven't done as well keeping up with that as I would have liked.

    @DavidB1990, this is just my personal opinion, but I think writing the Ninja Notes is the biggest waste of time. They aren't in depth notes at all, they are more like an outline. Don't get me wrong, I have the Ninja Notes for all 4 parts, but they are more for me to skim through the week before an exam. I think it's better to learn the material through your OWN notes, and rewriting your own notes, instead of someone else's. I've seen a few people on here writing them out and I really just don't get it. I'm sure people will beg to differ. My biggest piece of advice would be to, do it all over again! Do every MCQ in Becker again for AUD. Watch the Becker final review disk when you're 2 weeks away from the exam (that's how they recommend doing it for the live class). For now, I'd really focus on doing all those MCQs again. I really wish I had done that at first, I wouldn't have failed so many times!! Good luck!

    Thanks Peanut! I tend to agree with you about it being more advantageous to rewrite your own notes and reread the Ninja notes. Wasn't quite sure where to fit in the Final Review disc, so I appreciate your advice on that too. Good luck tomorrow – you got this!
