3 weeks enough for AUD? (no work) - Page 2

    Hi everyone,

I don’t start work till October 2 and have been doing nothing but studying for the past week, and same goes for the next two weeks before I start. I recently moved to a major city and underestimated how far in advance the test dates fill up. All 5 test centers in close proximity to me have completely filled up for every single weekend date in the October/November window.

There is still an open date on October 1, the Tuesday right before I start. Based on people’s experiences with AUD, does anyone think this is enough time if you’re doing nothing but studying 10 hours a day? This is my last test, and I’d really like to get it done before work kicks in. Also I don’t want to be that person who asks for a day off his 2nd or 3rd week on the job to take it on a weekday. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I think 3 weeks of studying full time is enough to pass any exam. 21 days at 7 hours of efficient studying is 147 hours. I work full time and usually manage to get 3 or so hours in a day. More than enough IMHO. I've got audit scheduled for October 5th. I've watched the lectures and made notes through 5 of the 6 Becker sections. I plan on finishing up the notes today, then spending the next two weeks review said notes and cranking out multiple choice questions. I've used a similar strategy for BEC and FAR. Always feel slightly underprepared but I've scored in the upper 80s both times. Studying over much longer of a period and I think you start seeing negative results. Good luck.

    FAR - 84
    BEC - 89
    AUD - 93
    REG - 87

It's doable! I did the same thing, I went through the Becker book 3 chapters a week and did a 3 day review and reread the book before I sat on 8/31 and I passed so in all I did it in 17 days and only worked 2 sims in total.
