3 days until AUD…need last minute advice… - Page 2

    I’ve been through all the Becker questions one time. I am currently retyping all my notes from those questions. Should I start doing Wiley questions or go back through Becker. I’m thinking Wiley cause I can do mini quizes of 20 MCQs and a few simulations. I would probably do these for the next 3 days. Or do I go back through Becker questions again?

    It’s not that big of a deal either way, but was just curious of another opinion.

    I’m also reading the “Final Review” AUD book each morning as supplement to the MCQs. Not sure if that factors in on the advice.

    @jenuno – I'm am getting worked on A4 transaction cycles…. I hope it isn't this hard on the exam!

    @thechamp just keep working with A4 and things will start to click after awhile… I know it is very very painful to sit and do those 121 questions..but it can be done! I found it very helpful to: 1) memorize the document flows int the cycles; 2) realize that tracing and vouching can begin at any point in time in the process (i.e. not always from souce to GL and GL to source)..tracing refers to the first doc in the series and voucing involves a doc/source after; 3) not focus so much on the wordd vouch or trace, focus more on what the auditor is trying to accomplish.     Becker is more than enough for audit or for that matter for all 4 parts. Just try to reread all the content again and again and understand thoroughly.

    Becker has gotten me through FAR and BEC so I feel good about that. I'm still only getting around 70% on the Wiley test bank questions. I started out around 65% – 70% so I'm making a little progress, but I'm don't feel like I'm making large strides. I've been going through the MCQs for two days now and am starting to think I should switch it up and start reading the Final Review materials and the NINJA notes. I'm thinking I'm not grasping some of the concepts. Some of them are still a little fuzzy.

    @JJM that's what I did for FAR I would read the Ninja notes and my notes for a section and then go through the MCQ's for that section and keep doing those MCQ's until I got 70-80% consistently and then rinse and repeat. 70% is good! Keep going you're making good progress and you still have tomorrow!

    I took Audit today and had some brutal questions but the Sims were alright (if you know how to do research).

    unfortunately I'm not good at the research tool. Any good advice on utilizing the tool? how it's laid out? Any must know info?

    i took aud today and i have never been so frustrated and upset leaving an exam before. the sims were from a different planet… the mcq's i could say that i have seen all the material, how i did i dont know since my second testlet seems far easier than the first, makes me worried because i feel i knew all the material asked. out of 90 questions i can safely say i was iffy on maybe 5-6.

    just be prepared for craziness on the sims… i dont know how i did, who knows i may have passed, but i'm feeling like a retake is coming up in Jan.

    Hopeful, you should be okay. I bombed the sims because I did have the same issue. The MCQs were easy at first then progressively got harder. Knew I answered some incorrectly. Sounds like you succeeded. I would estimate 80s.

    BEC - Missed by 3 points Retake TBD
