    Pretest questions…

There are 2 TBSs and 12 MCQs in total that are pretest right?

    Morning all,

Update on my progress – I just finished going through A5 on Becker, and I'm going to devote most of my time to do a cumulative review by doing sets of MCQs from A1-A5. I still have one more unit to go, but I'll probably do that tomorrow.

Still averaging high 90's on these Becker progress tests in sets of 36 MCQs – it's probably a good thing I should move onto the Ninja MCQs so I don't get complacent with the Becker MCQs.

I feel like with AUD, I just remember these questions and answers way better (hopefully due to understanding the concepts) than FAR. I don't know if this is the case with anyone else here who has taken FAR before AUD. FAR MCQs also took a lot longer to do. Anyway, less talking, more doing MCQs.

@Big4beancounter: FAR MCQs took my a lot longer as well. I'm a slow test taker but people on here have said they can move along very quickly on the AUDtestlets with hour + remaining on the clock.

Yes, AUD seems far easier and faster than FAR to me as well. I'm averaging like 25 seconds per MCQ. I finished my FAR and BEC exams with over an hour on the clock. Maybe I'll finish this one with 2 hours? I'm going to try to take it slow, but then I did that with BEC and still finished super early.

I took FAR yesterday. Whew!! Too bad I won’t know if I passed until June 27. I’m just glad to be done with the FAR material. I start preparing today for my AUD exam that’s scheduled for May 8. Anyone else using Wiley for AUD?

@PDiddy2000 I am using Wiley. Nearing the end of the material with a 10-12 day review built in before my exam. Trying to know what things to recover again and do a TON of MCQs. That's what I did for FAR last month and it worked out.

@jsdailey are you watching videos, reading text, and doing flashcards? I did all those for FAR but I had 3 months to study. I need to streamline my study strategy for AUD since I only have 5 weeks to prepare. Plus AUD looks like a lot less material.

    @PDiddy2000

AUD is definitely a lot less materials than FAR so studying for it after taking FAR should make you feel like you're on a nice vacation. Studying for FAR sucked simply due to the sheer amount of materials covered. I'm not sure how Wiley is set up, but I've been watching lecture videos, do skills practice (mini-SIMs), do MCQs on Becker.

5 weeks should be enough time for you to go through all the materials and review unless you're working crazy hours right now.

@PDiddy I haven't watched videos at all. I'm doing mostly flashcards and MCQ's. I took note of any “Deep Dive” Videos listed so I could go back and watch those during review. For me, videos take a long time and I get nothing out of them unless calculations are involved. like some of FAR. Also, this Wiley guy is beyond boring to listen to talk about AUD when he just reads super long definitions directly from the screen.

Just went through the various audit reports section of AUD, the sims on that part destroyed me on Wiley. Is it probable that I will have to do a DRS on an audit report to “correct” errors? One of the replacement passages was like reading a full page of my study text it was so long and the other answer choices were equally long. I am pretty good at understanding the basics of the reports and opinions, but that massive sim would sink me on exam day.

@jsdailey The videos were a must for me on FAR. Maybe I'll read rather than watch the videos for AUD but I know that I'm not going to do both on every lesson.

@big4bean not busy at work at all. My manager actually took off for a month so I actually have to fill in for him while he's gone. I'm going to devote about 4 hours a day at work to studying the entire month of April along with weekends.

@PDiddy2000 I agree on FAR, especially areas like bonds, pensions, and the like. But with AUD being strictly theory, I will learn better with flash cards and the explanations on MCQs. For REG, I suspect I'll watch more videos. But for AUD, it feels like a waste of time to me.

@Bigbean That's great ur done w 5 sections. I am only done w 3. But it takes me a while to view vids & then compare to info in my NINJA notes. Takes forever but I recopy notes few times during this process.
@Jsdaily & @Pdiddy I am very concerned w the DRS on reports. But glad the MCQ should not b too time consuming so I can sched more time on them.
    Thanks for the reminder!
