    @Tim – Given your passing scores and those “90% results” you have been getting during your review stage, I can only assume you completely understand most of the concepts. Maybe, you're just that well-prepared, but if you feel like you're missing some pieces in identifying your troubled topics or what have you, it doesn't hurt to try new test banks to see if you're getting the same results.

    I was averaging somewhere between 88-91% on sets of 33 MCQs on Becker progress tests during the last 2 weeks of my review. Although I found several questions to be challenging, but I felt I was in the same dilemma like you described and I was getting complacent with the Becker MCQs, so I decided to give the Ninja MCQs as my supplement. After doing a couple sets of Ninja MCQs, my average was definitely lower than the ones from Becker, and I noticed there were many MCQs that reinforced the concepts I thought I knew well from different angles. There were several over-lapping MCQs from Becker and Ninja (probably the AICPA released questions), but I strongly believe it's good to supplement your study with Ninja and find what you're looking for.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello everyone,

    I'm new to this forum. I'm currently using Roger study material. I just start using Ninja study material as well.

    I took AUD first time in April, 2017 and got 72. The exam result stated that I was weaker on all 4 sections.

    After that, I bought the CRAM course in Roger study material and started to study for the exam again in January, 2018. I took the exam on March 9th, 2018 and got 64 only. The exam result stated that I was comparable on section I, stronger on section IV and weaker on section II and III. MC – Comparable. Simulations – Weaker.
    I was pretty confident for the exam in March. I understood the material a lot better and reviewed everything. I redid all questions in the study material and normally got a score higher than 80 for the practice exams. I did not remember the answers and analyzed all the options to make sure I understood why I picked the right answer and did not pick other three answers. I did all things I could to prepare for this exam. During the exam day, I thought I did good on the exam.
    Until I knew the result, I was extremely disappointed (yes, extremely). It was even lower than my first score. I do not know what I did wrong.
    I reapplied the exam right after I knew the score. I'm going to restudy right away since the study material is still fresh in my mind now and plan to take the exam again around the end of April as soon as my application is completed.

    Can anyone please kindly advise me what I did wrong in the exam preparation for the second time and what I should do to prepare for the next exam?

    Please kindly give me the answer as much detailed as possible. It's pretty frustrating to me now. I was pretty upset with the result. It should not be a problem if I was still confused at some topics before the exam date. However, I was confident with the study material and still could not figure it out how come I could get 64 on the second try.

    Failed Aud with a 74 but scheduled the retake 4/3. Just got an 86 on Wiley practice exam. Feeling pumped and ready to destroy it.

    What are the situations where qualified opinion are issued for issuer/nonissuer vs disclaimer? (Please give answers for updated standards if possible/applicable)

    @Big4BeanCounter

    Thanks, I did buy the Ninja material and did about 250 MCQ's yesterday. Still scoring like 85% but there were a few questions on things Gleim didn't cover much that helped strengthen my understanding. I guess I'm pretty prepared but I will keep hammering down on it. I'm hoping for a high 90s score so no prep is really enough.

    @Tim

    No problem! Have you taken the exam rehearsal on Gleim yet?

    @SONA
    I did a lot of sims during my first pass of the material since I mostly stick to Gleim's study plan. I will probably devote one day of final review to sims but MCQ's are typically a more efficient way to study IMO.

    @Big4BeanCounter
    No, I don't do the exam rehearsals. I don't tend to have time issues on the exam and I think that's all the rehearsal really helps with.

    @Mydnguy The thing about the test is you never know why you passed one time and failed another. I cant do my signature. but I got a 74 on both REG and BEC and retested at 81 and 84.
    I did the same for both: 20 hours a week study, for 2 months. I used Becker. I watched all the videos, took notes in the books and re-read the info. I then used my NINJA notes, I had them bound to study better. I filled in gaps form the Becker book I felt I needed to understand better. My notes were in various colors, used color pens cuz the notes stand out better.
    I then spend the last 3 weeks rewriting notes and doing MCQ daily. I listened to Ninja Audio all the time. We went to Six Flags and I had it on my playlist all day. I do most MCQ twice. I reset my MCQ in the last couple weeks and redid everything. I rewrote all my notes in the week before the test. Killed my wrists. Lo

    I also like Super F-A-S-T CPA. It is not organized but it never expires.
    They teach you to narrow down your answer to 2 choices. They do not track your progress, you take 5 question MCQ quizzes. It’s nice to change up my MCQ so I don’t get used to memorizing the answer.

    @Sona What are you trending at now? You said your test is mid April. Do you feel different now?

    Finished A4 today on Becker – still have some SIMs to go through, but I think my brain needs to rest tonight. Tomorrow's plan is to finish the rest of the SIMs then move onto A5!

    Highly thinking about moving up the exam date from 4/27, but it all depends on when I get my new NTS. Hope everyone's studying hard.

    Hi Everyone! I am half-way through A3. It's such a long chapter! I will be testing on May 2nd as there were like only 2 slots open in April for the Prometric near my house. I didn't realize it would book up so quickly! But, in a way I am glad for not testing in April. The extra week would allow me to not rush through the material. I would at least need solid 10-15 days to review.

    @Big4Bean, how comfortable do you feel with the content presented so far? Couple of the things in the A3 lectures are throwing my brain for a loop. More risk = More work thus More work = less risk and this was suppose to make things easier to understand. haha
