Hi there! Sorry for being MIA for weeks. I fell and injured my knee badly so studying was put on a halt. Finally, went in today for my exam and I agree with the post above @Clay. The test got harder and wordier in the 2nd testlet. SIMS were brutal and one was very math intensive. The concepts were major broad topics that are covered all the time but they they asked it in a such twisted way that it was hard to determine the answers.

So I took AUD this morning and I am extremely certain that there was a typo on one of my TBS in testlet 4… Without talking about the question or what it entailed, basically there was an invoice that was for the service period July 1, Year2 – June 30, Year2… So -1 days hahaha I eventually realized that it was supposed to be through June 30 Year3, but I was confused and thought about the problem for a while which took alot of time away that I could have spent on the other TBS in this and the following testlet. I am pretty bummed about that issue and wondering if it is worth emailing that AICPA email they give on the attendance confirmation sheet? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Took AUD today and have mixed emotions. I could not tell if the MCQ got tougher in the second testlet as I felt they hit a lot of minor details. I had a ton of Ch 5 & 6 in there too (if you have Becker). My SIMS did not feel as bad though with a simple research question, some JE's. All in all I felt like I could get partial on every SIM so thats a plus.For blueprint believers, I had 2 SIMS that were in the application listing which caught me off guard a bit.

I really underestimated the AUD exam I took on Tuesday. I was scoring in the 90s on the Becker and Ninja MC and I thought I had a descent understanding of all the SIMS. But I had a descent amount of MC that I understood the topic but never saw it expressed in a question like that, which threw me off. I agree with the post above, some of the SIMS questions were easy concepts, but the way they can ask the questions can really throw you off as well. Just hoping to not have to retake AUD.

Just took Audit. Mcqs were okay, 2nd testlet seemed tough but I could be wrong, some Mcqs were super confusing and wordy. Sims were super lengthy and time
Consuming. One was so lengthy that just couldn’t figure out where to look for. Except for that 1 sim other were time consuming but if you practice enough you should be able to handle them. Wish everyone good luck.

You probably won't get this question on the exam nor is it the focus. Statistical sampling is like the least focused topic on audit, so don't sweat it too much. Focus on audit report modifications, controls, audit procedures, and analytical procedures.
