    Are the explanations to the AICPA AUD sameple SIMS on here somewhere? I got mostly all of the JE ones incorrect. looking in the AL didn't help either. Also, Ive legit gone through almost every MCQ I could find in Becker and Ninja MCQ and thats really throwing me off. Like there's questions I know for sure I wouldnt get correct had I not seen it before, but now that I've seen it, I keep telling myself the answer choice makes sense. Ughhh, I shouldnt have gone through the MCQ's so quickly

    Took AUD last week. I felt good when the questions got a lot more difficult for the second testlet, but there were three questions that were not even touched in the Becker material. Really hoping that those were pre-test questions. The sims were similar to the AICPA sample test with the difficulty kicked up a notch. There were some questions where I had to narrow down the answers to two choices and had to go with my guts.

    Anyone using Wiley testbank? My exam is in about 2 weeks so I've started dedicating about an hour a day on testbank questions while I finish up the last section in Wiley. Holy crap!! These tesstbank questions make it seem like I didn't read a word of the first 3 sections. Demoralizing!!

    Anyone take the Becker mock exams? I somehow got the same % on both testlets in mock exam 2 and then the same % on both testlets in exam 1.

    Pretty sure it’s rigged somehow. This seems like it’d be statistically unlikely to get the same percentage in both testlets.

    @pdiddy2000,

    I'm using Gleim as my primary audit course material, however we are using Wiley for quizzes in my graduate auditing class this semester so I've been supplementing with some of the MCQS. I think there are two categories of questions available, learning assessment and test bank. I've been finding them both to be pretty challenging, but I'm not quite through all the Gleim material yet so they might get easier. The classroom version of Wiley allows you to set which types of questions you want and if you want to review only new ones, incorrect ones, or all of them.

    I'm not positive, but I think some of the Wiley questions were written by Dr. Gleim, which might explain why they are also pretty difficult.

    Sounds like the classroom version of Wiley is the same version that I have now.

    I know that Wiley buys questions from various sources so I guess that's possible they could be written by Dr. Gleim. In my final review for FAR I stopped reviewing the “testbank” questions because I was getting more frustrated with every question. I began reviewing the lesson assessment questions only. Those were challenging but doable. The thing is I'm not sure if that approach works because I'm taking 3 out of the 4 exams this quarter. As you know the scores will be released at the end of June.

    i just finished taking the Audit exam today, and had extra 35min left. I am very confident that I will pass, never felt like that compared last the times i finshed Far and Reg. I only used Roger and focuz 99% on MCQ. The sims compared with Far and Reg is so much shorter and easier, and requires no caculation at all. My suggestion is to keep praticing the MCQ till you memorize all the concepts and can explain why the incorrect choices are wrong, and you will be in good shape.

    I found an explanation for 1 of the AICPA practice test SIM. On you tube search “Surgent DRS” and it is about 43 minutes long. It is for Audit Request Draft.
    Know where the others are?

    Is redoing the existing AICPA questions like the one Ninja has helpful in preparing for the exam? Like were the questions similar or testing different things that old AICPA questions tested over.

    I notice that there are a lot of minutia related to each section within Audit that they could pull questions from.

    I feel I need moral support because it feels like such a solo effort. No one I know irl can relate, so I should probably contribute here more often. I’ve postponed AUD multiple times last year and gotten a new nts as well. Exam is 23 days away. I’m slowly getting into a routine to study. Still on module 1, and I have the ninja audio files too.

    @oldlady: You can get all the support you need from the forum. I am also hanging on in this journey in spite of many setbacks. I also almost took AUD in Jan. After tax season, I have started all over. Which review course are you using? How many more modules do you have? Good Luck!

    @sacpa, I’m using Becker primarily. Have six total modules. Have a clear weekend ahead so plan on getting through a lot of material.

    What review course are you using?

    Do you guys have any advice on how to best answer those “not”, “Except for” “unlikely” questions? I always get tripped over trying to match the answer choices against the question and end up getting the question wrong.

    @kahloon

    For “not” or “unlikely” questions, I look for the questions that are true. The false question is the correct one.

    @oldlady: I used Gleim & finished all the homework & about 2000 mcqs in Gleim. But my access to Gleim AUD expired. Now I am reviewing using 2018 Gleim book. Will buy a test bank after I am done with reading the book & doing the 400 mcqs in it.
