    auditing is such a difficult subject especially for those whose English is not their primary language, can someone give some suggestions how to tackle the problems, especially the MCQ?

    Hell if I know. 😀 I think you just do it (avg 95.5 on all sections on first try) and like the year after you're done they announce everyone who won the previous year. Think you get a plaque or something from the AICPA. Some companies give nice bonuses for winning it (PwC gives $20k plus the $5k for passing from what I hear) but I doubt mine will give me one. I'm a controller for a small contractor. The owner is an electrician and values people who work with their hands a lot more than accountants. It's been a good experience but I'm going to be moving on shortly to somewhere I'm more appreciated.

    I feel like I'm totally losing my mind. Using Becker plus NINJA MCQ, but I've gone through all of the questions NINJA has to offer, which is alot of overlap with what Becker has. Im remembering the correct answers for most of the questions, and when I seem to get a question I haven't seen before I get the answer wrong.

    Exam is this weekend, not sure if its worth speed reading over the Becker book. I don't think doing more MCQ's is helping. The information just isn't clicking.

    @ayusdream:
    Trying focusing on one topic at a time.
    Read the book, watch videos, listen to audios, then do the mcqs.
    Move on to next topic only if you get 75% or more.
    Read the explanations whether you get the questions correct or wrong.
    Look up YouTube videos & Google for more explanations if what your review course provides does not make sense.
    Post your questions here & someone in this great forum will explain it to you.
    If you have not bought a full review course & using just books, try the trial versions of review courses to see which you like & then buy it.

    Hope this helps!

    @kahloon: Try signing up for Wiley trial version, do the mcqs & practice exams to get another perspective.

    kinda losing hope I'll do well on this exam. I think by now the info should have come together in my mind and i should be able to determine the right answer before looking at the answer choices, but it still isn't. Its like I kow the info but I dont pin point the right answer and it up getting confused if look at the answer choices too quickly because they all look so good to me.

    Anyone studying for BEC while waiting for AUD score? I missed this study group forum…the BEC study group is dead and not as interactive as here.

    Forum is pretty dead lately agreed. Need more active peoples. I'm studying REG right now and hating it.

    Don't lose hope. Try to start to start at a high level by looking at the subject/topic conceptually then drill down on some of the technical aspects. You'll find that most of it makes sense and has a natural flow to it. I do admit there are some items that require brut memorization but most of it makes sense based on the topic. This is my approach, we'll see if it works on May 8th. Good Luck!!

    @pdiddy2000, yeah I tried doing that, but doing these mcq's makes me realize all the stuff I've studied isn't clicking.

    Side note, for anyone studying with Becker. The SIMS in A3, and A4 are pretty complicated. You guys have any advice on how to tackle difficult SIMs? I tend to freeze up when i see a ton of options for potential answers.

    @Tim: Ah I thought maybe it’s a more transparent process. Hop not over to big 4 before results come out for that extra cash haha. I only knew one person that got the EW in all of my time at the big 4… so it’s a big deal and I’m pumped for you!

    The BEC forum is dead indeed which is why I keep coming back here. Im probably taking BEC mid May before that I’m going to Napa for a weekend. Who in their right mind does that but I am being told I have to.

    @Kahloon: you still have a few days before test day. I think you’re grasp of the material might be lacking which is why it’s not clicking. Instead of the book hit up mcqs and try to understanding why you’re getting them wrong. Write down stuff. Don’t lose hope you still have a few days. Better to give your best shot and if you pass.. hey! Good luck

    The REG forum was super active when I was on it. Lots of questions. But the BEC was dead in both quarters I took it. I thought AUD wud be too since it's more theory so u don't post lots of questions on Sims & MCQ.
    I like sharing our AUD fears & struggles.

    @Sona
    ; u did better than u think. If u think u failed, then u passed. I wud b more worried if u were positive u passed. Lol.
