2013 WileyCPA Exam Review Focus Notes.. anybody used them?

They are okay. Ninja audio notes are better)). I worked the actual book and made my th acown notes. Without reading the actual review course those notes make no sense. Plus a lot of time i wondered why the auther highlighed certain things and omitted others.

they are phenomenal. especially for a test like REG where there's so much information. the FOCUS NOTES breaks down all the material from 8 chapters of Becker, but what i like most is that they still provide ample detail to the point where it's not a broad, “20,000 feet birds-eye view”, but more like “10,000 feet birds-eye view”.

in my study arsenal, i've got Becker, NINJA notes, and the Wiley FOCUS Notes. would highly recommend the wiley focus notes for all 4 parts.

Ninja Notes was good for AUD, in my experience.

I purchased the focus notes with my Roger CPA Review course for an additional $110 (or somewhere around that price). To be honest with you, I barely ever use them. I have taken FAR and BEC so far (passed both on first try), and have maybe spent a total of 1 hour looking at the focus notes combined. IMO writing your own notes will help you more than the focus notes.

I've been taking my own notes for all exams, but I just changed jobs and still have to take AUD, so I decided to purchase focus notes from Wiley, so I can easily review them on my breaks, on a plane, etc. but after browsing the content, I can't say I am too impressed….Maybe they will be more helpful after I actually study some more and use them as final review….
