    I always thought it was COULD.

    if you COULD care less, then you don't care as little as possible,so you could still care. Usually, this isn't what the person is trying to say

    if you COULDN'T care less, then you care as little as possible.

    Anyone else get annoyed when people say that something costs .50¢ or that they are just trying to give their .02¢? Drives me nuts — but maybe that's just me 🙂

    The other day one of the cats from IT sent a mass e-mail with something like:

    -If you do not receive your massage (message)

    -thank you for you patients (patience)

    After seeing this I went and checked this cat's salary. Well, turns out he makes way more than me :(..Not only that, but he does not even have a CIS degree or anything. Now I know why it takes them like 20 days to solve a minor issue. It seems like everyone in IT went to this university and received a degree in Latin or Literature…lol

    @Kim4- But think about it, if you COULD care less, then that means you really don't care because you want to care less about it. But if you COULDN'T care less, then means you care because will not care any lesser. So I think COULD makes more sense, but that's just me.

    Believe what you want, but the whole point of this thread was to brag and to rub it in others face that he passed and barely studied. Come on, read the forum, most on here struggle with the exam. They don't need someone starting a thread to brag. I've been on this forum long enough and every time someone starts a thread like this it's to be an ass.

    And honestly, I think he's full of crap. I'm sure he passed, but I bet he put in more hours than he's wanting to admit.

    I passed all 4 exams on the first try. Did I start a thread bragging about it?

    @Kim4- Exactly. And that's why there always will be a debate on this. If you google it, there's no definitive answer on this. To be honest, neither phrase should be used because it's not really proper. One should just say, “I don't care.”

    @RedRage00- Exactly. Well said.

    Redrage reading previous messages of a poster is a good indication of what you say about more hours than admitted. Same person who says he got a 75 on his first aud practice exam, got a 90 on his first aud practice exam over a month ago 😉 stories aren't consistent.

    @mla

    Where did I say I got a 90% Please show me that post. Actually, I'll help you… here it is…

    https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/after-taking-bec-this-morning-i-came-home-and-took-an-aud-practice-test

    Now, if you knew how to read for comprehension, you'll note that I stated I got an aggregate score of 75% on the practice test with my sims scoring 90%.

    Guess what genius. That means I said I got a 75% not a 90. Get your facts straight.
