[Journey to Fate]

i hope everyones weekend is going well and that you are all fitting in studying as much as possible as I am….i know its hard :-/

Well – as you all know, my rematch with Audit is scheduled for 4/7. I am trying to take the positives (improvement drastically to a 63, only positive i can take) from being back on the CPA exam train when I took this back in February after a few years hiatus. I am on the train for the long haul now, until i am a CPA. I have been using ninja notes and audio and doing many many MCS. I am starting to feel prepared, continuing to do those questions I cant just grasp the concept and keep trucking along.

How is everyone else doing in preparation for their rematches/1st exam? keep at it everyone and stay focused/confident.

I got a 55 in February and did not do much Becker's MCQs =( but that's all I've been doing in this month. Starting to realize all these stupid wordings in a question is to trick us. So I aim to PASS in May 7!!! I also bought Wiley and trying to work on those in my “spare” time. Working as many MCQs as possible

This is a journey, not a sprint. There is no “giving up” in a CPA's dictionary. WE WILL PASS!.

My re-re-match with FAR is April 7 as well. I purchased the Roger CRAM this go around and completed that. He helped me understand some topics Becker didn't do a very good job explaining. I'm almost finished with the Becker Final Review (2 lectures left). I've been making my own note cards and working the problems along the way and I feel like I'm grasping the concepts a lot better this go around. I find myself continually becoming frustrated because I don't understand how I can study this material three times now and still not know it like the back of my hand. This information has always been my toughest I'm just hoping I can get those 2 points this time. I'm starting to feel the exam date creep up on me though. After I finish the Final Review, I plan to memorize my flash cards, read through Ninja Notes as often as I can and work the Wiley test bank simulated exams until exam day. It's been extremely difficult studying this time around due to busy season. I hope it doesn't hurt me in the end.
