Of course! AUD is the area I really understand, so I enjoy helping out!
If a certain area confuses you, flag it, skip it, and move on. My guess would be that later, once you have a better grasp on the risks and purpose of procedures, you'd be able to go back and understand it.
I honestly don't even remember doing many of the SIMs. I would familiarize yourself with the authoritative literature for the research question first. For the rest, I would focus on knowing the different opinions (down to the sentences and order of them) and the assertions (**** super important). I'd click through a few and practice a couple whenever you need a break from learning new material.
