I’d be lying if I said I was overjoyed right now about my passing score. I’m happy yes, but not as freaked out and excited as I thought I’d be! It really just hasn’t hit me yet. I think I was so used to receiving failing scores the past year that I’d been beat up and was expecting the worse. Also- this is only my first pass!!!! 3 more to go still .:)

What should I study for next? Whatever it is I’d like to start studying next week and plan to take the test the last week of April.

I was leaning toward BEC or REG. Thoughts?

    ----------
    AUD - 74, 77! (1/2016)
    BEC - 80! (5/2016)
    REG - tbd (8/2016)
    FAR - tbd

    Study materials: NINJA MCQ/Audio/Notes

    Congrats on your pass!

I would take REG or FAR and then BEC. I am taking REG and FAR back to back and wish I had broken them up. I would also try to get two exams in this window maybe REG in April then BEC at the end of May.

    Good luck!

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Personally I'd probably take FAR since there is quite a bit of overlap between AUD and FAR so you can apply some of your recent studying toward that.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

Thanks all! I was thinking to hold off on FAR (I'm most afraid of it!) but if the material overlaps it might be worth it.

Has anyone else taken FAR after AUD and felt they benefitted from the material?

Also, how does my study approach need to change from FAR to AUD? I was hoping to take it in late Apr but I have a feeling May might be better for that beast.

    AUD - 74, 77! (1/2016)

    REG - tbd (8/2016)
    FAR - tbd

gsnyder00- I used the materials in my signature.

Are you utilizing the authoritative literature/research function in all of your SIMS? I really think that helped me get some points that I know I wouldn't have received otherwise.

Congrats on passing AUD! I finally passed it too, last month. There are some BEC concepts that are similar to those of AUD. I haven't taken FAR or REG, as I have heard that they are the hardest sections of the CPA exam. I want to knock out AUD and BEC and then really take my time and focus on FAR, and then my beast, REG. I think for BEC, you won't put in near as much time studying than you will for FAR or REG, but that's just my opinion. Everybody has their beast(s). Mine, I'm pretty sure, are FAR and REG.

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 88!!! DONE!!!!!!!!
    BEC - 76
    REG - 77

    never, never, never give up

Anyone have any additional input on this? I just passed AUD, I've taken REG, unsuccessfully, but don't remember that much overlap in material I started on BEC..should I continue or move to FAR?

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    Finally!
