I am planning to take the AUD exam at the end of April. When should I apply to take the exam and order my supplies from Becker?

I live in Michigan and government and not-for-profit is required to apply for the exam. I am registered to take audit and govt/non-profit grad-level classes this winter semester, which ends March 31.

Will I only be allowed to apply after March 31? Should I order the study materials during the semester?

Are you already registered with the Michigan State Board of Accountancy so that you can apply to sit for exams? Have you contacted the State Board and asked them about this?

If your class ends March 31, then the class should be on your transcript after that time. You'll probably have to send in transcripts to be evaluated before your state board approves or denies your application. The approval process can take some time.

I'd suggest contacting the state board to clarify what you need to do and how long approvals usually take because I think once you order Becker you are on the clock with their study materials.
