After obsessively checking for my Audit retake score all night I was unfortunately greeted with a 74! My heart shattered. I’ve put my life on hold in order to pass these exams before April of 2017. I still have my Far exam coming up on Monday so I’m trying to stay positive and focus. Still it is hard and I’m not very confident for this Far exam. With that being said should I just go ahead and reschedule the Audit exam again or should I wait for my Far release score? I’m not sure if jumping to Audit is best if I don’t know how Far will turn out. Any advice on passing audit will also be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I am in a very similar boat. I just got a 74 on Audit this morning as well with a Reg exam on Monday. I am giving myself a couple hours to pout and cry, and then throwing myself 110% into Reg. Retaking 2 exams is a hell of a lot worse than retaking 1.

A 74 is one the cruelest things. I've been there before, nothing to say besides it really sucks.

But at the same time, whats done is done. Nothing you can do now besides focus on FAR and hope for the best. Don't let a 74 screw you twice.

You are probably better off focusing on FAR and hopefully only having to retake Audit in April. I feel your pain, I got back-to-back 74's in audit then switched my time to FAR and got a 74. While it's obviously not ideal to fail any section, I had to tell myself that if I was going to fail any, Audit was the one to do it on since it has the least material and is mostly concepts so you can go through it quicker. I would much rather just retake Audit later and work on making sure you don't have to retake FAR, because that is the most time you would have to put into a retake just based on the amount of content. If you haven't done so already, get the NINJA MCQ's. I used Becker for my two 74's and didn't overcome the 74 until I added those extra questions in.

Please what material are you reading for the Audit? My material is outdated: Income statement and Balance sheet/ Analog language!! Please help with options.

@Wincci, I've been reading the Becker material. I also tried to use Ninja notes but I didn't feel like it gave me information that I didn't already know or help in a deeper understanding of the material.
