Took audit the other day, I felt terrible (and confused!). I felt the testlets went:

Medium to Medium/hard to Medium/hard. SIMS were really tough. I felt decent on a few, others like 60% confident. Not sure if I got the research sim right. Halfway through the test I felt like giving up!! This test is crazy! A lot of questions I didn’t even recognize from the study material.

But I could narrow the hard ones down to 2 answers. There were some that were no brainers. I guess they were littered in with the tough questions. I walked out of the testing center so upset and angry, which is the opposite of what I felt for FAR (passed with a 76)

Going into the exam my trending for ninja was 82 and avg was around 68 ish. Final practice exam scored about an 85.

Did I do well enough to pass??

If I was a betting man, I would bet that you passed.

Seems like a lot of people who feel horrible coming out, pass.

Everyone feels that way; I've seen dozens of posts like yours since joining this site earlier this year (I think that's when it was). AUD was my first test, too. I walked in knowing I could not possibly have studied any more or knew better and felt like there was no reason I should not pass. I walked out furious and very frustrated. The more time passed, the more I was sure I failed. The only test I was sure I did well on was BEC, and that was coincidentally my worst score. I think there's a strong negative correlation with how well you think you did and how you did. You're probably fine; just try and relax!

I left AUD so upset that when I got home I had a message that I left my license at Prometric. Got an 84.

I was indifferent about my audit exam performance, I passed (barely)…. You just never know! Good luck!

In my experience when I felt like i scored high 90's I passed with 76. When I wasn't sure if i passed I got 52. I personally don't understand how people feel like they failed for sure but coming out pass but the way these tests are graded can bring unexpected results. Don't beat yourself up too much. That exam is done, you can't change anything. Just move onto the next one and retake AUD if you have to. We all know that luck plays a significant part in pass/fail. it shouldn't be that way..

Exactly Lost! No idea what to expect when results come out

I've taken four exams to date. (AUD 2x, FAR 1x, BEC 1x)

and I have to be honest, I ONLY felt that way coming out of four of them…

I took AUD yesterday and I can honestly say that the hardest part of the exam were the SIMS. I cried on the way home because I thought most of them came out of left field. The Sims felt like I was taking the FAR exam instead. I had not studied the material in the manner they presented it. The motivation to go through all of this is just seeping out of me slowly.

Although in real life an auditor works with those FAR SIMS nevertheless I would expect the review courses to prepare you for that, or at least warn you that you could get those kind of SIMS. Thank God that I got to see some of those SIMS in Ninja but still I do not know how I could have prepared for what I got in the exam.

I do not know if I passed but if I don't I know I will not be the first nor the last. Try to relax and get some rest, I felt the same way about two weeks ago but it is all part of this process, it is indeed a marathon.

I felt the same way after leaving my AUD examination. I studied my butt off with Gleim and covered every area. I walked out of the exam confused amd devastated again. My study materials were not hard compared to this exam. I just got my score today and I am devastated. This is the second time taking the exam. The first I got a 73…now I got a 74. I need better study materials for the TBS. Any ideas?

I spent the last two weeks, after taking BEC, avoiding anything CPA exam related because I thought I just failed my last section.

All I can say is hang in there. Waiting on your score is the worst part. Since you were trending in the 80's on NINJA MCQ you probably have a good shot!

@Tcohle I'm so sorry to hear about your not passing AUD. Don't worry you'll get them next time! I also failed BEC with a 73 so I know how bummed you are feeling. Hopefully we'll have good news to tell next window. 🙂

Just got done taking AUD and I feel like it went terrible. I felt like my testlets went medium, medium/hard, easy?? I spent 2 hours on the sims and still feel like I have no idea what I was doing on at least 4 of them. Think I nailed the research and feel okay about 2 others but the rest I feel like I was just guessing.

Coming out of FAR I couldn't really gauge how I felt, didn't feel great but not terrible like this.

Trending and avg were in the 80's and Becker practice exam 1 was 82 and exam 2 was 73. Thought I would feel a little better after this exam…..argh.

Nothing I can do now though, just wait for August 25th to see how it went…
