Took first Test (AUD), I thought it was hard! How do you think I did? - Page 2

    Hi all,

New to the whole CPA test thing. I have the Ninja 10 pt combo. I took Audit the other day:

I really didn’t feel well leaving the exam. Shoot, half way through I wanted to quit! I just sat in my car for 20 minutes to cool down. Lol. I was crushing Ninja MCQs before the exam. I was trending around 84% and had an avg of about 70% I think. Hit the review stage. My last few practice exams I was scoring MCQ in the high 80s!

The first testlet seemed really hard, I flagged a bunch of mcqs, but I slowly narrowed them down to 2 answers and I think those went okay. The next two testlets I think were a mix of really tough questions with some no brainers lightly mixed in. Not more wordy, just pretty tough. I flagged maybe 4-5 in both.

I feel like a decent amount of mcqs weren’t exactly in ninja mcqs (I thought I studied for the wrong test! lol). And like I said, half way through I really was being negative on my chances of passing.

The Sims were pretty tough. I don’t know if I got the research right. I’m betting I got at least 60 or 70% on all of them (AL was no help, but I made educated answers on ones I wasn’t sure of)

Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m clueless on how I may have done! Everyone at work is asking!

Aud has been my challenge and the SIMs is what keeps getting me. I just hope that I have been able to do it this time but who knows. I received a 72 the last time. So close but not close enough.

I agree – the SIMs are insane. And my problem is that I get stuff that's completely different than what is offered in my test bank. It threw me for a loop on the first go around, but hopefully I was a little better prepared the second time.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

IDK…..I'm an audit associate in public and I thought AUD was the hardest exam so far. I passed FAR and REG on the first time (which were difficult mostly due the depth of required knowledge), but it seemed like the material was more black and white than AUD which tends to be more gray as there always seems to be 2 correct answers.

    FAR - 76!
    REG - 84!
    AUD - 88!
    BEC - 74 (ouch), 77!

I know. Audit has been my challenge. I passed FAR, REG, and BEC on the first try but not audit and I feel defeated. If I don't pass this time, I just don't know what to do.

@TrappedinWI – That is exactly how I feel about AUD. There are too many grey areas. I'm really hoping that I will have better luck with REG next month since it is more straight-forward. My overall hope is that AUD is the one section I will struggle with, while passing the others fairly easily.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

I'm dreading REG. Well OP, I hope both of us pass. I had a similar experience and am having anxiety as to whether or not I passed

    FAR- 5/11/15 76!!
    AUD-10/31/15 63, 84!
    REG-7/12/16 72
    BEC-8/31/15 75!! Perfect Score!
